Jenifer Clark Duron grew up on the east coast starting her riding career at age 5, competing at 10, and turning pro at 18. Starting with pleasure riding lessons she quickly grew passionate about the sport of hunter/jumper riding and moved into competing up and down the east coast on the A circuit as she developed her craft. At age 18, Jenifer made the move to Northern California diverting from plans to attend law school to pursue her passion. Paying her dues and learning along the way she worked under multiple trainers grooming, catch riding, and assisting. She really began to find her niche as assistant trainer to Denise Parker at Brookside Equestrian Center specializing in ponies for the first time in her career. Taking from all her experiences from the east coast and northern California, including running the lesson school program for Rudi Leone at Leone Equestrian Center for many years, Jenifer traveled to the San Diego area in 2004 to make her home and open her own Riding School at the world famous Del Mar Horse park aka “Showpark”. Showpark became home for 13 years as she built an exceedingly successful competitive show barn and riding school competing in the unprecedented Greater San Diego Hunter Jumper Association circuit locally and traveling to the A shows for the catered show plan of each competitor year after year. Whether having big goals of competing in Onondarka Finals or Junior Hunter Finals or simply qualifying for the always fun GSDHJA Championship Show, Jenifer became know for balancing serious competitive riding with the overall love of horsemanship and all that entails. Jenifer's own two children now also ride and compete with the barns team and enjoy growing up at their new private facility, the newly renovated English Facility at San Pasqual Valley Ranch where she offers full service training and a competitive show team, sales and lease horses and ponies, a riding school lesson program, and boarding options.
